In Commuter, you can create parking lanes to represent on-street parking or off-street parking. Vehicles can park in bays that are parallel with traffic or in transverse bays. The bays can be on either side of the street, and a vehicle that arrived in one direction can leave in the opposite direction, just as it would in the real world.
The cost of parking can be set by zone, and this cost will be used by each person in their calculation of the cost of using a car to get to their destination.
Parking lanes may be restricted to certain types of users only, or may be configured as drop-off and/or pick-up only, which is useful for modelling airports, train stations, and other transport hubs.
